Description
Cream uPVC Patio Door – 3 Pane Sliding Design
Three panels sits in an odd spot between the compact two-pane door and the full-width four-pane version — wide enough to feel like a proper feature, narrow enough not to need an opening built around it from scratch. One panel does the work of opening; the other two just let the light in.
On a three-panel spread, Cream keeps the sightlines feeling light rather than heavy — with less glass overall than the four-pane version, the frame proportion is slightly more visible, and a softer colour like this stops that from reading as bulky.
How the Sliding System Works Day to Day
The single sliding leaf runs the full track length, giving a genuinely wide opening despite only one panel moving — the two fixed panels either side (or one side, depending on the exact layout) stay permanently glazed, adding width to the view without adding anything that needs maintaining.
Where the Warmth Stays In
The same 70mm profile and Low-E, argon-filled glazing used across the whole patio door range applies here too — three panels doesn't mean three different performance standards, it's one continuous frame system regardless of how many sections make it up.
What’s Actually Stopping a Break-In
The one sliding panel carries the full multipoint lock and anti-lift protection; the two fixed panels are internally beaded and simply aren't built to open, which removes them as a target entirely.
Built Around Your Opening, Not a Standard Size
Getting the proportion between the sliding and fixed sections right — so the door doesn't look lopsided — depends on the actual opening it's going into, which is why this is made to measure rather than sold in a handful of stock widths.
