Description
Cream uPVC Patio Door – 4 Pane Sliding Design
Four panels, two of them sliding, and a full width of glass between your kitchen or living room and whatever's outside it — that's the appeal of this configuration in one sentence. It's built for openings that were designed, or extended, specifically to take a feature this size, and it delivers on that scale without needing a single hinge.
Cream doesn't try to compete with the view through the glass, which is exactly why it's one of the most requested finishes for a door this size — a wide expanse of frame in a louder colour can start to dominate a room, where Cream simply recedes and lets the garden do the talking.
How the Sliding System Works Day to Day
Both centre panels run independently along their own track, so you're never restricted to opening the full width just to step outside — one panel slides, the other stays put, or both move if you want the opening at its widest. The two outer panels are fixed, doing nothing but let light through, which keeps the moving parts (and the maintenance) to a minimum.
Where the Warmth Stays In
A 70mm multi-chamber frame runs the full width of all four panels, moving or fixed, so there's no thermal weak point where a sliding section meets a static one. Low-E glazing and an argon-filled cavity do the rest, keeping the u-value consistent across what is, in absolute terms, a lot of glass.
What’s Actually Stopping a Break-In
Multipoint locking secures the sliding panels at several points rather than just the handle, and an anti-lift mechanism stops the classic patio door vulnerability — being physically lifted out of its track — from being a viable way in. The fixed panels don't need locking at all; they're simply not designed to move.
Built Around Your Opening, Not a Standard Size
At four panels wide, there's no standard size that's going to fit most openings — this is built to the millimetre for the space it's going into, which matters more here than on almost any smaller door in the range.
